About Jessica
Hello, I'm Jessica!
Jessica.png

I'm the owner of Utopia and its sole Licensed Massage Therapist and Advanced Crystal Practitioner. I specialize in helping highly sensitive women, empaths, and those experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, PTSD, and emotional overwhelm feel calmer, more grounded, and more at ease in their bodies.

As a highly sensitive person and empath myself, I’ve always been deeply aware of how stress, overstimulation, and the demands of everyday life can affect both the mind and body. Creating a peaceful, nurturing space where women can slow down, relax, and reconnect with themselves is at the heart of everything I do.

My approach blends relaxation massage, acupressure, reflexology, crystal healing, aromatherapy, and other supportive modalities to help calm the nervous system, ease tension, and encourage deep relaxation. My massage style is intuitive, rhythmic, and Swedish-based, using light-to-medium pressure and a personalized approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent twelve years working in both the corporate and non-profit worlds. While I gained valuable experience during that time, I also experienced firsthand the stress, overwhelm, and constant demands that so many women navigate every day. My eventual path to massage therapy grew out of a desire to help others find the kind of balance, restoration, and sense of peace that is often missing in our busy lives.

In 2020, I graduated from East West Healing Arts Institute and began building the foundation for what would eventually become Utopia. In addition to my massage therapy training, I earned my Advanced Crystal Practitioner certification through the Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy in 2023, the same year I opened Utopia.

My passion for holistic wellness continues to grow. In 2026, I am pursuing certification in Reiki and working toward becoming a NAHA-certified Aromatherapist to further expand the ways I can support my clients’ well-being.

I also maintain a close connection to the massage therapy profession through East West Healing Arts Institute, where I regularly serve as a student evaluator for both Swedish Massage and TuiNa (Chinese Medical Massage) hands-on final examinations.

Outside of Utopia, you’ll usually find me running, taking ballet classes, or watching ghost-hunting shows with my husband and our rescue chiweenie. I have also worked as a wig educator, helping women navigate alternative hair options for medical, cosmetic, or personal reasons. As someone who wears wigs for fun and self-expression myself, I understand both the practical and emotional sides of finding hair that feels like you. I’m always happy to offer guidance and resources, including my ebook for women who are new to wigs and want to feel more confident and less overwhelmed by the process.

Thank you for being here. It’s truly an honor to support women on their journey toward greater peace, balance, and well-being. I hope you find your own little piece of utopia here.

The Story Behind the Plumeria

Utopia (2).png

The inspiration for Utopia's logo came during a deeply meaningful trip to Hawaii with my husband. It was our long-awaited honeymoon, but it also followed one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

In the year leading up to our trip, I lost my beloved dog. Six months later, my grandfather passed away, and just two weeks after that, my grandmother passed away. I arrived in Hawaii carrying a great deal of grief and spent much of the trip healing, reflecting, and finding my way through those losses.

One evening, we walked down to a quiet beach near our AirBNB that also served as a sea turtle sanctuary. As the sun began to set, a sea turtle slowly came ashore to rest for the night. In that moment, I was reminded of a scene from Moana, when Moana's grandmother is dying and tells her, "There is nowhere you could go that I won't be with you."

The experience moved me deeply. I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort, connection, and peace. I removed the plumeria flowers from my hair and left them as an offering beside the sleeping turtle.

That moment became the inspiration for Utopia's logo. The plumeria flower represents healing, comfort, renewal, and deep restoration. It serves as a reminder that even in life's most difficult seasons, moments of peace, beauty, and healing can still be found.

My hope is that every client who walks through my door experiences that same sense of comfort, support, and restoration that inspired the creation of Utopia.
