Massage Therapy

Massage therapy at Utopia is a calm, intentional experience designed to help your nervous system settle, your body release stored tension, and your mind soften from the demands of everyday life.

Sessions are unhurried, sensory-aware, and deeply restorative, offering space for you to pause and simply receive care. Many clients come in feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves and leave feeling more grounded, regulated, and at ease in their bodies.

Each session is fully customized to your needs in the moment, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where you can relax, unwind, and reset at your own pace.

Signature Massage

The Signature Massage is the foundation of the Utopia experience and is fully customized to your body and needs each session. It blends gentle to medium-pressure with slow, intentional techniques designed to release tension and support deep relaxation.

This session is ideal for stress relief, burnout recovery, and nervous system support. The pace is intentionally unhurried, allowing your body time to fully soften and respond rather than being rushed through technique.

Each session is guided by what your body communicates in the moment, creating a personalized experience that supports both physical ease and emotional grounding.

Gem Massage

Unique to Utopia, the Gem Massage combines hands-on massage with crystal healing for a deeply grounding, sensory-rich experience. Smooth, polished gemstones are integrated into the massage to soothe muscles, encourage relaxation, and support a sense of energetic balance.

This session is designed to feel more immersive and ritual-like than the Signature Massage, while still grounded in the same slow, nervous-system-focused approach. The presence of the gemstones adds an additional sensory layer that many clients experience as deeply calming and centering.

Each session concludes with intentional crystal placement or chakra balancing to help you feel grounded, settled, and fully present before you leave.

Each massage at Utopia includes basic aromatherapy, a satin eye pillow, and a warm towel at the end of your session to support deep rest and help you gently re-enter the world feeling grounded and restored.

Enhancements are available to build on this foundation, offering a way to further tailor your experience with additional sensory and therapeutic support based on what your body needs.

Cupping    $15

Silicone cups create a moderate suction on targeted areas of the body to help release deep muscular tension. This encourages circulation and lymphatic flow while helping tight, congested areas soften and let go.

Botanical Pain Relief Balm     $15

A calming blend of organic hempseed and jojoba oils is used to enhance your massage with nourishing hydration and a silky glide for full-body comfort and relaxation. A professional-grade botanical balm infused with menthol and arnica is then applied to areas of tension to create a cooling, soothing sensation. Delicate notes of eucalyptus, lavender, and peppermint complete this luxurious sensory experience.

Petals & Gems     $5

Handcrafted by Jessica in small batches, these botanical and crystal-infused oils are designed to bring an added layer of intention, beauty, and sensory comfort to your massage. Each blend is centered around a unique theme and may be paired with the essential oil of your choice. If a particular blend resonates with you, it is also available for purchase so you can continue enjoying it as part of your self-care ritual at home. Shop online or purchase in person at Utopia.

Toasty Toes     $5

A simple warmth-based enhancement for cold or tense feet. Smooth heated basalt stones are placed between the toes to encourage circulation, comfort, and grounding.

Sage & Sweetgrass Smudge     $5

A traditional smoke-cleansing ritual using white sage followed by sweetgrass, designed to help clear heaviness and support a feeling of calm renewal.

Crystal Hands     $5

A gentle, meditative experience where you hold a crystal in each hand during your session, supporting relaxation, grounding, and a sense of energetic balance.

Snug as a Bug     $5

Massage Therapy FAQ

How would you describe your style of massage?

My massage style is based primarily on Swedish techniques, using slow, intentional, light-to-moderate pressure. The focus is on calming the nervous system, releasing muscular tension, and creating a deeply restorative experience for both body and mind. Each session is customized to your needs and may include full-body work or focused attention on specific areas such as the back, neck, shoulders, scalp, or legs.

Do you offer deep tissue massage or deep pressure work?

No. I do not offer traditional deep tissue massage. My work is based on slow, Swedish-style techniques using light-to-moderate pressure to support relaxation and ease muscular tension. If you are seeking deep tissue work, I’m happy to refer you to trusted colleagues in the area. For clients who prefer more targeted support for muscle tension, cupping therapy and Botanical Pain Relief Balm are available as optional enhancements during your session.

What should I expect during a massage with you?

Each session begins with a brief intake where we review your comfort level, pressure preference, and any areas you would like to focus on or avoid. You will then be left in privacy to get comfortable on the table before the massage begins. The session is slow, grounding, and intentionally paced to support relaxation. I use light touch at the beginning of the session to help your body settle and transition into rest. Throughout your massage, only the area being worked on is undraped, and your comfort and sense of safety are always prioritized. At the end of your session, you will be given time to rest before getting dressed. We will briefly check in afterward, and you will be offered water and any relevant aftercare suggestions.

Do I need to talk during my session?

Not at all. Many clients prefer to remain silent during their massage so they can fully relax. You are always welcome to talk if you need something, but there is no expectation to carry conversation.

Are there any areas of the body you do not work on?

I do not perform abdominal massage or work on breast tissue. These boundaries are always respected and non-negotiable.

Do you work on the glutes?

Yes, if you are comfortable with it. This is always discussed during intake so your preferences are fully respected. Glute work is performed with proper draping at all times.

What if I fall asleep, snore, or experience a natural bodily reaction during my massage?

This is completely normal and very common during deep relaxation. There is no need for embarrassment. Your body is simply responding to rest, and you are encouraged to fully relax without self-consciousness.

What if I need to use the restroom during my massage?

You are welcome to use the restroom if needed. Simply let me know, and I will step out of the room so you can get dressed.

What does "undress to your level of comfort" mean?

This means you should wear whatever allows you to feel relaxed and at ease. Most clients choose to undress to their underwear, but you will always be properly draped and covered throughout the session. Your comfort is the priority, and you may remain partially or fully clothed if you prefer.

How often should I get a massage?

This depends on your body, lifestyle, and goals. Many clients benefit from monthly sessions, while others prefer more frequent visits during times of stress, tension, or emotional overwhelm.

What should I wear or bring to my appointment?

Wear whatever is comfortable for you. You do not need to bring anything with you. Everything needed for your session will be provided.

What is cupping therapy?

Cupping is a therapeutic technique that uses suction to lift and decompress soft tissue. It can help increase circulation, release areas of tension, and support relaxation. It is offered as an optional enhancement during your massage session.

Do I need to choose firm pressure to get results?

Not at all. More pressure does not necessarily mean better results. My work focuses on slow, intentional techniques that allow the body to soften and release tension naturally. The benefits of massage often continue after your session as your nervous system integrates the work. Rest, hydration, and general self-care can all support that process, but the most important factor is simply allowing yourself to fully relax during the session.
